Angling & Fishing Licence
What will the money be used for?

The incomes from sales of fishing licences are spent on fish care through stocking, restoration and similar things in relation to streams and lakes in addition to measures and research of importance to reproduction, growth etc. of the fish stocks. In this way, the fish benefit from the means, and this provides better opportunities for good fishing for anglers, recreational fishermen, sideline fishermen and professional fishermen.

The incomes amount to about DKK 30 million a year. They are managed by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, the Danish Directorate of Fisheries, in close collaboration with the Danish Institute for Fisheries Research and the organisations of the fishing industries.
